I think the Hotel Vila Vita in Porches. 5 stars is very high, near the sea, beaches, the city has good restaurants, beautiful views. This hotel on www.google.co.uk and think it is a special website. You can rent your own boat. Around the hotel, go-karts. If you like fish restaurants for you directly from the hotel is a restaurant called Gi-Gi Fifth Du Lac. Very nice. If you love good food, even at sea from the fifth, where we have 2 very good restaurants called Oceania and is still going. It is very cheap for such quality food. Hope this helps!

You can try at www.tripadvisor.com (search for or could be. Co.uk) is a bright side of giving notice of innocent travelers in hotels. The hotels are for items by name or by area and people who rate their visit there, and add a few photos. We have a couple of times in use and have always been major parties ... Good luck and have fun!

Club Praia Oura, Albufuira. There are many places in the city or town Albufuira CPO who eat just been renovated too. My mom and dad were here last year and loved the beaches, seafood restaurants and the shops on the beach Curry, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and British restaurant. Check it out online or visit www.tripadvisor.com to get opinions from real travelers. Enjoy.

The Jupiter Hotel is a pleasant, simple rooms, but the hotel is located in the heart of the Algarve.

for a honeymoon, I recommend a villa instead of a hotel?

If you offer the service in a hotel, but a house privacy and relaxation you honeymoon in one.

Vale do Lobo is a beautiful place with beautiful villas with private pool.

If you've set your heart on a hotel, you can search for Le Meridien Penina in Portimao or Marinotel or Tivoli Vilamoura Beach Hotel in Vilamoura.

These three are very good 5 star hotels and excellent service.

I avoid Albuferia also because it is very touristy and not where I spend my homeymoon (but to each his own!)

Falesia Hotel, Açoteias. A Thomson Gold Hotel, 5 *, childless, can not guarantee good food and entertainment and pure British customers. Check it out on their website.

www.osagostos.com

This is not a hotel, but rather is a traditional farmhouse in the olive, which has been beautifully restored. I stayed there a few times and she is beautiful and managed by a Portuguese family. The rooms are nice, the food is good and you get the right one for you, mostly. The pool is heavenly and is located in a prime location in the Algarve. Personally, I do not think I spend my honeymoon in a hotel with many others, and I think this place offers the tranquility, romance and good taste of Portugal. Websote Check out the pictures and information, even if it is not fair! And to avoid the big resorts, with its grand hotels and villas - very artificial and not Portuguese.
